Climate Catalytic Fund

CCF mobilises small, fast, match funded (including blended finance) grants that turn data-driven risk insights from the Risk Index for Climate Displacement (RICD) into concrete, on-the-ground, locally-led adaptation. As part of the Climate Mobility Innovation Lab (CMIL), it sits alongside RICD analytics, ensuring evidence, finance, and experimentation feed each other. By filling a persistent access-to-finance gap, CCF provides rapid, flexible adaptation finance for quick-impact projects in the highest-risk hotspots—initiatives generally too small for larger climate funds. Grants unlock action quickly and catalyse local co-funding, which can be effectively managed and monitored through IOM’s local presence and robust fund management systems.

Strengthen local ownership, knowledge, and institutional resilience
